FRAGMENT FRÅN ETT SEKEL

"Fragment från ett sekel" is a combined film screening with live music. There is a focus on Ostrobothnia on the west coast of Finland, and deals human development for better and for worse in harmony and disharmony with the timeless elements of nature. There are ice baths and saunas, industry and culture, love and war with questions about what we want to do in the next century.

ALVIK 

Alvik has been pushing the boundaries between pop, folk, jazz and electronic music. It was started in 2001 in Prague with members across Europe, and has released four albums. The singer Anya moved back to the US in 2017, and even with new singers, the band has slowly gone into a permanent ice-cube. We all hope this ice will one day melt and Alvik will be on a stage again.

KVILE

KVILE is a concert where traditional folk tunes and hymns are brought into a space with original compositions, improvisation and played over a sound scape and back track.

In co-operation with Øyvind Svendsen (trumpet, horns, church organs).
